Greetings
Each morning at 7am I am up and taking my seat. I read something spiritual and then sit in silence for 5 minutes at first, increasing up to 20 minutes in the morning and evening. As Deepak Chopra said in his meditation teachings, we do our RPM daily. "Rise, Pee, and Meditate". You may be asking why meditate? The answer is to increase your conscious contact with source.
Meditation helps me to get centered and allows me to notice things in nature and life that I would normally take for granted. For example; after many weeks of regular meditation I noticed how lush the vegitation is around rocks. I realized there is energy in rocks and that grass and flowers grow beautifully in the wilderness against a rock.I suppose this is why we have "rock gardens"!
In my teachings from Deepak I learned that there is energy in everything and that nature has an effortless ability to go with the flow.
We humans are energy with the highest of intelligence, and yet we struggle the most with "going with the flow". Grass doesn't try to grow, it just does. Birds don't try to fly, they just do. Have you ever noticed yourself driving down the freeway, and all of a sudden coming "to" and realizing you have gapped out and missed a few miles on your journey? This is called day dreaming or not being present. Meditation practice helps me to be in the moment noticing things that have been there all my life but seing them for the very first time. We become tuned in. I encourage you to join me in meditation at 7am in your sacred space and share your experiences with waking up and becoming present. We meditate at the same time each morning to enhance our inner connection with one another. Join me today!
All is well
Cindy

There are no mistakes
I have moved to Wetaskiwin AB. Life has been a whirl wind for the past month. So much has taken place, and it feels like my bus has driven through rough terrain; but I am here! I have had my moments, wondering if I have made a grave mistake; oh how I miss my yogini friends in Vernon BC and I miss my Yin Yoga too!
Story Time:
I'm outside my new home in the front raking my leaves on a glorious warm day early November, I have Boo with me and I am attempting to teach him to stay in the yard while I work. I notice a women coming down the walk way with a dog on a leash. I scrambled to pick up Boo before he ran after her and her dog.
She says to me; "My dog won't hurt your dog, she is scared of dogs". I explain what I'm trying to teach Boo, and she says; "Your name wouldn't be Cindy would it?" I pause, and look at her and say; "Peggy?" I get goose bumps all up my spine. Peggy was my best friend 27 years previous. I was in awe for the rest of the day. Can you believe that she lives 3 blocks away from my home in Wetaskiwin? We have since had dinner together and today on (11/11/11) we are heading to Camrose to attend a fruit and nut fair from the Okanagan. Talk about a small world! It never ceases to amaze me how all is as it should be. There are NO mistakes, and we are pre-destined. Our story already is, it unfolds daily. If you have had a similar experience, blog with me, let me know.
All is well
Cindy.
